I’m a writer, screenwriter, and founder of Fight for the Fairytale Editorial, a developmental editing company that empowers writers (especially fantasy writers) to craft cinematic novels and screenplays.
I write primarily medieval epic fantasy and am driven to bring more female voices to the fantasy space. As a novelist at heart, my dream is to write book series, turn them into compelling screenplays, and then see them adapted into films and TV series!
But it’s not just that. I am a committed member of the Bookstagram and BookTok communities and hope to help more aspiring writers get their novels published and brought to screen as well!
As a breast cancer survivor, I crafted my unique motto, “Fight for the Fairytale; it does exist” to encompass and motivate everything I do. Life is too short, so we need to live boldly and pursue our greatest dreams just like our favorite characters do. If they can fight through every struggle thrown their way, then so can we.
The idea inspired my debut book: Fight For Your Fairytale: A Guided Quest to Total Transformation - a self-growth fantasy crossover written in D&D campaign style that’s a little bit cancer memoir and a lot a bit of fun.
I am based out of the Chicago Suburbs and received my MFA in Screenwriting from DePaul University in 2025.
When not focused on writing, I love to weight lift with my fiancé, travel the world, play D&D with my friends, and spend time with my rescue dogs.
